In 2013, Mathias Arrignon decided to become a sound engineer, a decision which soon gave rise to a passion.

His introduction to the profession took the form of a bachelor’s degree at the French National Audiovisual Institute (INA). Within this dual programme of study and professional placements, he gained a multitude of experience in the field and has since gone on to work in radio, podcast, television and film.

The last seven years have seen him amass a wealth of solid technical skills but he is increasingly aware of his desire to go beyond his technical background. He feels deeply that sound is a medium of expression more important to me than its domains of application. This preference has an influence on his style of listening and of reproducing sound, giving him an audio practice that is more and more artistic.
